Abstract Submission

General Regulations

  1. Studies in radiation oncology and related fields (e.g., radiation physics, radiobiology, health economics/policy, epidemiology, translation science, patient care) are eligible. Authors are possible to be any profession participating in cancer care (e.g., radiation oncologist, clinical oncologist, medical physicist, dosimetrist, radiation technologist, nurse)
  2. Case report, case study and review article are not accepted.
  3. Abstract must be completely submitted by 11.59 pm, 30 June 2025 (GMT+7, Thailand local time). Any edits/corrections to the abstract can’t be done after this deadline.
  4. Submitting author accept to be a contact person and responsible for all correspondence related to the abstract
  5. An abstract should be submitted at a time. Multiple abstracts should be submitted separately.
  6. Abstract must be submitted and presented in English
  7. Abstract should not be presented at another meeting or published elsewhere before FARO 2025
  8. Abstract would be published in the abstract book/included in the online website

    • Physics
    • Radiobiology
    • Palliation
    • Nurse care
    • Other
    As the abstract would be reviewed by the experts in the field, the most relevant category for the abstract should be selected. Please note that scientific committee may recategorize the abstract for a more appropriate category.
  10. Trade name of any product/machine/device/program must not be included in the abstract
  11. Acceptance would be notified in early-mid September 2025
  12. Presenting author of an accepted abstract must register to attend FARO 2025

Abstract format
Title
  • Maximum of 100 characters
  • Should not include the result
Author
  • Maximum of 15 authors
  • Presenting author must be indicated.
Body
  • Maximum to 500 words
  • Figures and Tables are not allowed in the abstract.
  • Organize into 4 parts – objectives, methods, results and conclusion
  • Do not include name of institute/affiliation
Keyword
  • Up to 3 keywords may be included
Presentation preference
  • Presentation formats are digital poster and oral presentation
  • Digital poster will be displayed on screen for attendee self-viewing
  • Oral presentation 7 minutes presentation followed by 2 minutes discussion/Q&A Author may indicate the abstract to “digital poster only”. This abstract would not be considered for oral presentation
